If you are looking for a vacation every year on this beautiful lake, a timeshare is worth it. Many people hesitate to buy timeshares. I would agree if you are going to exchange into another area because there can be additional fees. But if you love the area where your home timeshare is located it can guarantee you a weeks vacation every year. Obviously you will pay maintenance fees, but when you go for your week you will leave and not owe any $$. The maintenance fee is much less than if you called village West to rent the same unit for a week (see below). If you do decide to exchange it occasionally and go elsewhere, we have had some awesome vacations in beautiful resorts!!
This is a really fun location. On beautiful Lake Okaboji. It is a Red Week in July meaning in very high demand. If you called Village West to rent this week it would cost $2,760 plus 10% ($276) tax total $3,036.00 for one week. Maintenance fee is $1,843. Almost $1200 less a year. For my price you can go there every year or you can trade it into an exchange company and choose somewhere else to go every year or once in awhile. This is a Lock Out Unit meaning you can use both sides or rent our one side. However, if you trade it with an exchange company it is worth 2 weeks of vacation.
