Just in time for Christmas, selling my antique, good working order, solid wood/veneer desk made by Leopold Desk Co. of Burlington, Iowa. The Leopold Desk Company was an office furniture manufacturing firm which operated out of Burlington, Iowa, for 102 years before closing in 1990. The nameplate says "Omaha Printing Company, Omaha Neb." The desk is ~ 32" deep x 60" wide x 44.5" high. The top is removable and is NOT high enough for a computer monitor when the roll top is closed. It has numerous inner shelves and spaces for paperwork etc. as well as deep drawers for lots of stuff. It has a locking mechanism which does not work. This is a beautiful, heavy duty, last-a-lifetime heirloom that is functional and beautiful. Would make an unforgettable Christmas gift. $400 or best offer.
